The inaugural dinner, held on International Women’s Day 1993, celebrated women and their contribution to family, community and life. It has grown to become one of the most important events in Kensington’s social and cultural calendar. Each year the dinner has a different focus and a different volunteer organising committee, however a continuing theme and rationale for the dinner has been to encourage and support the local community through connections and friendships developed each year.

2011 Life's a juggle...run away with the circus
The event in 2011 was held at the very new Kensington Primary School Hall.Over 200 women attended the event.
Fabulous entertainment was provided by The Women's Circus (http://womenscircus.org.au/)
In addition to the wonderful catering from Phatty Boombah and following on from the circus theme guests were offered fairy floss and choc tops for dessert!
Everyone had a wonderful time and we look forward to 2012.
A huge thank you to our major sponsor for the evening ... Bendigo Bank, Flemington Branch.
